"On Friday night my daughter Alexis was told that on Saturday we were going to see Ted Nugent, whom my daughter loves. She was so excited and then we received a phone call that there was a birthday party for her to attend on Saturday, well lets just say all hell broke loose in the Frits home. My five year daughter cried for a half an hour because she didn't want to miss Ted, who was going to be 2 hours away. Ted speaks at noon, birthday party 2 hours away at 3. At 10pm on Friday night my daughter comes from her room and says that she has to make Ted a picture, by the way she was very proud of what she had accomplished when she was done drawing. What we came up with was that we would see Ted run out and get her to the party. She was second in line on saturday, she gave Ted the picture and I got a lump in my throat because of all the time and attention Ted gave to my daughter. Thank God for Ted. We got our autograph and decided to listen to one half of Ted's seminar and leave. My daughter heard Ted speak for the half an hour and refused to leave for the party until Ted was done speaking. In the end she was one hour late for a party and touched for a lifetime by a great, great man. She now more than ever can't wait to go hunting. Thanks to all of your family for Saturday. Your family sacrificed qaulity time with eachother so Ted could come to Pennsylvania touch the life of a little girl and hundreds of others."

The crowd was the largest and most enthusiastic crowd we have ever had at a College Republican event. Ted’s stage presence kept the audience’s attention the whole time he was speaking. Everyone that met Ted at the reception before the speech remarked on how friendly Ted was. My group is absolutely in awe of Ted and the message of his speech.

I wanted to follow up with an enormous "Thank You" that was extended to all of you from Matthew and express his excitement about his personal conversation with Ted Nugent last week. For Ted to take the time out his busy day and put such a huge smile on Matthew's face speaks volumes about the character of Mr. Nugent.
I want you to pass along to Ted that there is a reward for beyond the initial reaction that he hears while talking with kids. Matthew forgot about all else going on that is out of his control and proceeded to tell all his friends about how Ted Nugent called him.
